Born and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia; Mike, his wife Grace, and two daughters Elizabeth and Mikayla love having the opportunity to serve at WPER. Mike started at WPER in 2000, and in 2005 he moved to Thailand to teach at an International Christian School. While traveling and teaching he met his wife and best friend Kieatsuda (Grace). In 2010 they answered the call to move and rejoin the WPER team.

Favorite Beach: Koh Chang, Thailand.
Pets: 2 Dogs; Charlie (Chihuahua) and Miko (Pug/Pomeranian mix).
High School: Courtland class of 1998.
Interest: Travel, food, comics, sci-fi, anything space or neuroscience based.
Favorite Food: Thai, India, Korean, anything with spice and plenty of it!
Fun Fact: Mike is a personal development and life coach.
Fun Fact: Mike’s wife Grace competed in Taekwondo in college and both Elizabeth and Mikayla are learning as well.
Fun Fact: Mike loves acting and even started an improv group while living in Bangkok.
Fun Fact: Mike has traveled to Zimbabwe, Israel, Singapore, Thailand, China, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Japan, Burma, Macao, and Hong Kong.
